No-exam life insurance
Which applicants skip exams, the process for no-exam approvals, and what happens if you don't qualify.
Many companies now use accelerated underwriting: eligible applicants (within age bands and coverage limits) can get approved quickly without a medical visit.
What it changes
No exam doesn't mean no underwriting. Your responses are still checked, and a policy is issued only after approval.
Who tends to qualify
Usually people younger than around 60 seeking coverage below a carrier's quick-issue cap can qualify for no-exam paths.
If an exam is needed, a paramedic typically comes to you for a brief 20- to 30-minute appointment.
